Shell pile @ the North Jetty in Nokomis, Florida Has anyone been following i Love Shelling blog? Pam has been giving us the blow-by-blow of all the shells rolling in on Turner Beach a.k.a. Blind Pass. For dedicated shell lovers the sight of that big honkin shell pile growing upward on Blind Pass makes you want to call in sick to work, grab your shell shovel, & head south or whatever direction it may be for you to Sanibel. For those of you that are a plane ride away in the cold & snow; looking at those shells has got to be painful & my heart does go out to you. I live 2 hours north of Sanibel via I-75 or about 40 miles as the crow flies. I've sat at my computer for 3 days now looking, drooling, enlarging the pictures, looking again at my work schedule.... ratz - I'm not off till Monday. Cute post- I am one of your newer followers. Hmmm...Love the off season. The off-season in WI involves ice and snow and no way to warm up. I'll suffer through a crabby FL day instead! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogabirthday my sweet friend. If you never started your blog, I would never have found you or met you or gotten to find out what a wonderful person you are. So thank God you started blogging. I am raising my glass to you and many more blog posts!! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your one year blog anniversary! You are a fountain of information. For instance, I love learning about John Muir and his walkabout.
ReplyDeleteI first learned of him when I visited Muir woods and had a chance to see the forest he loved and the giant tree rings.
Hope all is well with your husband. Please give a giant hug to Rhonda the next time you see her.
Congratulations, Karen! We all continue to love you and your blog!! :)
